Goooooooood Evening! First things first -- including the cash I received today, the two-day grand total is $595!!! The holiday sweaters had quite the day today. I'm so inspired by everyone's support that I've ceased to be embarrassed by anything. Today I decided that the holiday sweaters deserved some accessories, so I wore a Santa hat all day. The hat pretty much assured that everyone stares and or laughs at me when I walk by -- people may overlook a sweater with bells, but the blazing red hat is hard to miss. I don't mind the odd looks, because everyone always laughs eventually:) Interestingly, people seems to like to pull the Santa hat. THREE different times today, people I do not know, pulled on my hat!! Anyways, as the title of the post indicates, the sweaters had a lot of exciting firsts today:
** First ride on the Metro
** First trip to Virginia ("The Mother of Presidents," you know)
** First class and first discussion with Professor about sweaters outside of class
** First donations on same day by roommates (yeah Mike & Kevin!)
** First cash donation (Stephs always makin' it rain)
** First time someone has seen a link to the blog on a friend's gchat and sent an email to complimented it! Thanks so much Kiely!! Of course, thanks for forwarding, Hollis:)
** First (and hopefully last) time the sweaters were disappointed by Michigan athletics. Harris, please be the Manny.
